David

Started pole dancing in 2014, fell back in love with it in 2021 and been teaching since beginning of 2022. David likes to focus teaching on combination flows. Alongside pole David also attends Ballet which is highlighted through his smooth transitions from one move to another. David will break down the movements so you can understand what parts of your body needs to be doing what to get the best out of you.

Davids style of teaching is very informal and based on getting the best out of you whilst making sure you are having fun while doing it.

David gained his XPERT Instructor Qualification, level 1 & 2 - November 2023

I started my Pole journey at Pole Twisters in 2021 and instantly fell in love with the sport. I started with no dance experience and learnt from other instructors at the studio. I enjoy putting routines together with floor-work and combining tricks. I love to see students progress through classes and watch their confidence and strength build at the same time. My teaching style is super informal and its great to see a class supporting each other and having fun

Karo

"I've been captivated by the art of pole dancing since 2021, merging my passion for movement with years of experience as an ice skater. My journey is all about embracing clean lines and fluid transitions, offering sessions where individuals can explore their strength, flexibility, and artistry in a supportive environment."

Karo is a dedicated and empowering pole instructor who brings grace, precision, and a strong technical foundation to every class. Her background in ice skating shines through in her attention to form and flow, making her sessions perfect for those wanting to develop beautiful movement alongside strength.

She shines in the studio, where her love for teaching truly takes center stage. Her calm, supportive approach helps students of all levels build confidence, push their boundaries, and enjoy every step of their pole journey.

Karo also teaches our adult pole & choreographed dance parties, as well as children’s themed dance parties, and holds a full DBS certificate. She is available for private pole lessons for ages 13+ with a parent present, and can also teach younger students privately in their own home if they have their own pole setup — ensuring a safe and comfortable learning environment tailored to the individual.

Abi

Abi was poling for four years in Christchurch, New Zealand before recently returning home to Wales. Her personal style of pole is dynamic, acro and strength based. She competed in New Zealand, taking 1st place amateur regional and 2nd place amateur nationals in 2023. She loves a prop, She has performed using silk fans and combined chair/pole, and fire pole.

Abi has always been involved in sport, from football, to distance running to rock climbing - but through pole dance, shes seen her strength, flexibility and body confidence increase like nothing else. Abi's aim as an instructor is to help others do the same.

In New Zeland she was very lucky to have some wonderful instructors who really encouraged her individuality as a poler. Again, she aims to do the same for our students, taking a personalised approach to their development thats suit their individual goals and pole style.

That said, whoever you are, whatever your level, you can expect to be challenged in her classes. It will be tough - but smashing that epic trick will be so worth it."
